Never assume that because a gate is open that an area has been opened up...If the sign is still there, it has not legally been opened contrary to what rumors you hear..We found that out on our last ride.
Doug let us know he gat a letter of repremand on the ride down Grandwash to pierce Ferry. So we will not be taking that route again until it is a legal route. So if you see the sign on the fence gone don't ride there until it is posted as legal!
